ALIAS()

Returns the alias name of a work area

Syntax

      Alias([<nWorkArea>]) --> <cWorkArea>

Arguments

<nWorkArea> Number of a work area

Returns

<cWorkArea> Name of alias

Description

This function returns the alias of the work area indicated by <nWorkArea> If <nWorkArea> is not provided, the alias of the current work area is returned.

Examples

      PROCEDURE Main()

         USE test
         SELECT 0
         ? iif( Alias() == "", "No Name", Alias() )
         ? test->( Alias() )
         ? Alias( 1 )

         RETURN
