Hi CCH,
For the past 2 years I had developed a lot of applications using HMG for the "real life" (as Rathinagiri said),
using MySQL and sometimes using DBF tables and had a few problems.
I can say that HMG is ** STABLE ENOUGH ** and ** MATURE ENOUGH ** to develop business applications.

about three years ago, I wrote my first application in HMG.
I was testing both HMG and extended HMG.
I stayed with basic HMG - it was (and I think It is
) more stable.

Yes, I am from Calcutta (now it is called Kolkata), India.
I am enjoying learning HMG from all of you (and sometimes along with you).
