Gracias por sus respuestas

Re: Sourface Snapdragon
Long story short....yes but actually no.
Snapdragon CPUS are based on ARM architecture and not on the x86 architecture. Windows 10/11 had at some point ARM versions(i dont know if they are still supported).
So if you manage to install windows 10/11 (ARM versions) on a snapdragon equipped device then yes theoretically in an ideal environment, it would run. Most likely though it will have a ton of problems.
If your goal is to run HMG on a tablet or a mobile then a solution is to pick a windows based tablet. We use 2 of those in our company to run MiniGUI apps and it runs flawlessly. Problem is that its not easy to find replacement tablets because i dont think anyone is using windows OS for tablets anymore. Same goes with mobile phones, you could be lucky and find some older Nokia smartphone models with Windows Mobile OS installed and you could try running native HMG apps there. But i have no idea if there are any new mobile phones or tablets with Windows OS installed anymore.

Re: Sourface Snapdragon
What I use is chrome remote desktop app. You can install it on a windows computer and make it main with a password.
Then install it on a tablet or cellphone and link it to the computer.
You are not using the tablet it self you are running the home computer.
I have two different programs using this because I have 8 pictures in my pos system and 32 pictures in my electric motor
rebuilding program. They use the tablet for going onto the shop and taking pictures to link to the work order they are on
I use my phone when on the road. using data I link to the computer in office and create a invoice or estimate. I can then
email it right from where I am to the customer I am dealing with. Have not tried using data on a tablet, so I only use it in
the shop.
I agree with up above, I don`t think windows runs on a normal tablet. My one customer uses windows tablets, he has 12 one
for each technician in his shop.
You can get used windows computer quit cheap and link tablet to them. Just an INFORMATION thought.

You can install Winlator on Android device and you will be possible to run HMG app. I tested it and works, seems Okay

Re: Sourface Snapdragon
I tested it today as well, it works fine with MiniGUI as well. Thanks for the info Marek.
Two questions if you happen to know:
1) Have you managed to run proper UTF-8 on it? Because on mine the Greek characters dont show.
2) Touch screen capabilities dont work as well. Only mouse movement and clicking. No emulation of a touch screen whatsoever. Is it possible to do that?

I've done only basic tests. I don't have time now to try it. Maybe in few weeks

Re: Sourface Snapdragon
No worries. Thought that you've experimented with it. I managed to run MiniGUI programs, connect with remote MySql - MariaDb . Made a few custom UI control buttons(makes left and right clicking on a small mobile screen much easier).
From what i've saw and read so far because it was designed mostly to emulate windows for gaming purposes it doesnt seem that it supports any kind of Unicode at the moment and no touch screen capabilities. It focuses on simulating mouse-keyboard functions perfectly. It is very impressive though, the programs run flawlessly.
Essentialy it is like using a VM running Windows on your android device but without the whole hassle of installing the Windows OS etc...
