I too had visited Solapur at the age of 13.
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.

merhabalar,
öncelikle sayın roberto ve arkadaşlarına teşekkürlerimi sunarım.
Roberto sayesinde 'visual studio + net framework' kabusuna mahkum olmadık.
uzun süredir testler yapıyordum. ama ciddi projelere henüz başlamamıştım.
artık qt + hmg ile kalıcı projelere geçebilirim.
(sayın esgici ingilizce çevrilerime düzeltme yapabilirseniz teşekkür ederim.)
saygılarımla

Hi,
I offer my thanks to my dear friend, first and roberto.
Thanks to Roberto '+ net framework visual studio' not doomed to a nightmare.
I've been long-time tests. projects had not started yet, but seriously.
qt + HMG can now move on to permanent project.
(Mr esgici by turning my English Thank you you've made the correction.)
yours truly

Limana hoşgeldin Salim kardeş
Ben de vatandaş yokluğundan epey bunalmıştım.
İnşallah beraberliğimiz uzun soluklu olur.
Mutlu HMG'lemeler

Hi
I am a dedicated Linux fan but have recently bought a commercial Windows based EPOS system because it was the only way I could get net based card acceptance through the POS terminal (www.commidea.com). I was surprised to find the software using dbf/ntx through xBase++. Must be something to do with its Clipper origins. In looking around, I came upon Harbour and its forks. Sure brings back memories: my first commercial programming was with dBase II ! This will give me the ability (at the very least) to interogate the database for my own reports. If I read correctly, the intention of HMG4 is to make it cross-platform and I think HMG would be a welcome addition to the Linux world.
I guess you can now colour England in red on your map

limit of CA-Clipper?
I'm Nguyen Chi Duc, I come from Vietnam, I lived in the Hanoi capital.
I have a question:
How much size of the file ".dbf" that HMG (Harbour) have access?
I had no experience of CA-Clipper, but I know the maximum limit of FoxPro is 2G

Hi Nguyen Chi Duc,
Hearty welcome from India.
IMHO, it is the OS which makes the limit of a file size. Harbour is better on this and can virtually handle unlimited size upto the hard disk space available.
