ASC()

Returns the ASCII value of a character

Syntax

      ASC( <cCharacter> ) --> nAscNumber

Arguments

<cCharacter> Any character expression

Returns

<nAscNumber> ASCII value

Description

This function return the ASCII value of the leftmost character of any character expression passed as <cCharacter>.

Examples

      ? ASC( "A" )
      ? ASC( "¹" )
