Hello everyone

I read that you can assign a letter (Z:) to a folder created in ONEDRIVE in the CLOUD.

I followed the steps indicated in https://answers.microsoft.com/es-es/win ... 2304b1a126 and https://answers.microsoft.com/es-es/mso ... 8aa1b71ec8 , and what a surprise, IT WORKED !!!

Run my application (with DBF's) from the CLOUD. (These are my first tests)

WOW !! What a possibility you have shown, Andrés.

I was ignoring OneDrive and using GDrive till now. But now I will check it and try the cloud-dbf thing. This will help in many situations.
Thanks a lot.

I found this too https://www.thewindowsclub.com/map-oned ... windows-10, may help those with English and do not need to translate above link.

Regards,

Anand

Did you tested record blocking in OneDrive disk?

Hola Mol

Hello mol
I haven't done it yet, I just wanted to try the assignment of the folder to a PC drive
and copy a simple application.

Tell us after you have checked add/edit etc. Records of the dbf .

Even if only reading and filter works, it is a good opportunity.

Anand

(DBF, DBT, NTX, )

Faltaría probar:
* Velocidad de captura
* Velocidad de Consultas
* Multiusuario
* Etc.
*----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, apparently everything works the same, (Add, Delete, Changes) !!!
The files involved were updated. (DBF, DBT, NTX,)

It would be necessary to prove:
* Capture speed
* Query Speed
* Multiuser
* Etc.

Primer problema :(

Thanks for so much information.

Now can you confirm that all the dbf activity is happening at OnDrive, i.e. no dbf/ntx is changed in any folder in your machine ?
To be sure, you can run your app from another machine which do not have the said data and check.

Regards,

Anand
