Thanks Sudip!
My English is really "not the best" - but with a little help of our friends it (this text and our book in general) will be good and friendly.
I haven't expirience to translate so "free-style" text (how I talk with "fools") - and hardest work is "how to say it on English?" (about some Russian slang words or phrases).

Excellent :D

Excellent structure, excellent educational style, excellent appearance :)

Some difficulties waiting you :(

- First : language: Never rely on Google ( and other mechanic tools of course ). Also, idioms are always difficult, often impossible to translate.

- Second : You have translate in-code literals too. This will cost more time and pain to you.

- Third : Since you want include two version, frequently you will have notice differences.

In any case your example is the very first part of HMG Book and it is a very good starting point.

Congrats and thanks a lot :D

Regards

"topic_4_12" - posted in "example 1" before.

Look and say - what about it?

Esgici, thanks for advices! You're right, I know about this difficultes - but if good-English-speaking guys helps me in troubles, "we shall overcome" :)

Hi all

This time I didn't prepare some examples. I want (for Roberto - his interest is country culture [as I understand; he wrote it in thread about "Lady Programmer"] - and for all) to post one Russian anecdote (to explain a phrase in my examles: "Process itself").

(Google translate)
Three men sit and talk.
One says: - I like to drink. Not to get drunk, fight, wallowing in the mud ... I like process itself: put the bottle on the table, opened the bottle, the wine poured into glasses, drank, ate, smocking, talking...
Second says: - I like to play cards. Not in order to win a lot ... I like process itself: got new deck, shuffled it, dealt a cards to partners and to myself, pick cards in hand, thinking, smocking, talking...
Third says: - I have 15 children...

Hello Swapan,

Thanks for your interest in this book :)

As Rathi said, it's in our dream. And in Roberto's word I may want to add - Never abandon your dream :D . You also know - both of us (Rathi and I) are engaged in different projects. Moreover I am still learning HMG ;) But, this doesn't mean, end of book, all I want to say - it will take longer time only. :)

With best regards.

Sudip

Hello Marek,

Yes it can be done :) And, first of all, we should start to write the book.

Very recently, Rathi and I have talks (thru message) about this book :) And we are agree with the structure of the book, our audience etc.

So, we shall start very soon. And after that, IMHO, you will be the best person to create the Polish edition (with value addition :) ).

With best regards.

Sudip
