I like to take photos a lot... it's one of my favorite hobbies.
I specially enjoy those involving the sun.

I live in the Ruhr-Area. It used to be the industrial heart of Germany.
But now the coal-mines are almost all closed, the air gets cleaner, but many people have no work.
Here are some of my pictures of an old coal-mine in Essen.

Last year I took one of the last chances to go down one thousand meters into a mine as a tourist. It still is very impressive. Attached is a picture of us after we came back up.
BTW. I am the third person from the left.
