HMG Tutorial & Documentation in chm format

Post by Rathinagiri »

I had created a help file for HMG, based on the recent html documentation prepared by Roberto Lopez.

It is initial release. I had cross linked properties, events and methods with controls.

In the next release I would include keyword index too.

Happy HMGing. ;)

It can be downloaded from here. (185 KB)
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Hello
excellent, this is something lacking since the current documentation is quite old.

Hi Rathi

Good work, thanks a lot.
Kindly give me your suggestions also to improve.
Beside cross-links, search ability and samples, my suggestion for "skeleton" of help is :

Code: Select all

Overview
    Cover
    Read Me
    What is HMG?
    Basics
    Building
    Bug Reports
    License
    A Brief History
    Quick Start
    Simple Tutorial
    HMG_IDE
    Links
Reference
    Commands
         Window Commands
         Menu Commands
         @.../DEFINE Commands
         DEFINE Commands
         SET Commands
         Other commands
    Functions
         GET Functions
         SET Functions
         IS.. Functions
         Message Functions
         Play Functions
         Other Functions
    Properties
    Constants
    Printing
    User Compenents
    Other Library Items
ChangeLog
By the way this is a quite difficult task, may it be easy ;)

Nice and wonderful suggestion Esgici.

I like your standard approach.

It is easy if we have the help documentation somewhere, to copy and paste. (creation is Roberto's department. ;))
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Hi Rathi

Here a little and humble contribution from another corner of Roberto's department to your hard task. I hope that it will be easy as soon as you expect.

You may make any change on it sans doubt. f.e. You may begin with version sentence in "O1Overview.htm".

Hello,
I have modified the file controls.html changing the index of controls on links to go live within the same page.
Best regards

Estimado,
He modificado el archivo controls.html cambiando el indice de controles por enlaces para que vayan directo dentro de la misma pagina.
Saludos cordiales
