However...

- If your 'tag' exists in the 'quest' file name you may search your words in it. Not a real 'filter' and no way to access multiple files, but may be usable.
- Adding new fields to table has no problem at all. But this is an endless way, today 3, tomorrow more; appropriate for your needs, and for other people ?

2) no additional browse/grid for the tags manipulation (Notepad is enough).

How a "manipulation" you are about; please clarify.

If I understood right your request, all "tag" info should loaded while file(s) uploading.

Anyway, the choice is yours.

After open a source code, all choices belong to people who has this code

We all know the story behind the splitting HMG and HMGExtended into 2 branches, hence IMHO only one person shoud here keep the rule.

'Quick' not meant 'elegant', moreover what works for me, may be insufficient, or worst, misleading for other peoples. So, my suggestion could be dropped, as 'quick but unelegant'.

'The Manipulation' meant CRUD functionality, for example with Notepad is easy to change {2011,2012} into {2011,2012,2013}, and so little 'base' is easier to keep as a plain text, at least for me.

All content in 'hfcl' folder remind me of our Doc, I will not insist it is right.
