Hi Escigi/Rathinagiri

I noticed that there is no BACKCOLOR for TOLLBAR.
Is there a workaround ?

Hi CCH

By definition, the BACKCOLOR property of some controls ( including TOOLBAR and BUTTON ) is Window Background.

If any property / event or method for any control does not exist in the command syntax, this means that there isn't such thing. Like Status bar including progress bar, tool tip including Menu Item etc.

Hi Escigi

Too bad.

Using BackColor , the ToolBar & Main windows looks pretty awful.

What I wanted was for the ToolBar to remain Gray while the main window is say TEAL :-(

Hi CCH

In general, HMG use current Windows theme colors for defaults. This is very good feature. When you ( or your customer / user ) changes desktop theme, your HMG appl too will changes by apperence.

You have select colors according to this feature.

TOOLBAR BACKCOLOR

I like challenge and I do not settle for what they tell me until I can not experience by myself "the impossible".

That's the main idea to make way for innovations and maybe improve something. :D

What seemed impossible when changing the BackColor of Form, there was also a solution, which in this topic I've apointed: viewtopic.php?p=22860#p22860

The problem is to keep the color of the ToolBar from one color and that of the form in another color. :|

But not impossible, I got a simple alternative in the On Paint event by painting a rectangle in the color I want to change the background of the forum.

And it looked good as a charm:

Well, that's the tip.
