Dear Friends
On my 1st use of the IDE I had a problem with IDE rejecting my file path
The file was located where I thought it should be,ie C:\hmg.3.4.4\mysourcecode\thisproject
To make things work I had to locate the project at c:\myIDEprojjects
The problem was that the IDE did not like the period characters in the normal path.
Is relocation the only solution or have others found a work around allowing them to use
the HMG normal path?
Thanks

Re: IDE project path
No. Your project folder may be anywhere on your PC;
and HMG path itself has periods, even more than one.
May be path of your folder or other files has space ?

Re: IDE project path
Sorry, I don't understand the reply (but am grateful that there was a reply)
I want to avoid the message "Invalid Project Name/Path (Spaces ...etc ....Not Allowed)"
Is there anyway (any fix to IDE) to allow me to use the "normal" mysourcecode directory with the IDE?
Thanks

Re: IDE project path
hi, what esgici is saying is that the only limitation is that the folder and upper folders of your project can't have spaces.
good luck.
good luck.
