Who tried Win 8 ?

Hi All

At Harbour-devel group today ( 2012.09.18 ) past a bad news :

... Windows 8 RT (Modern UI interface) is sandboxed, some low-level calls are forbidden, for example fopen/fwrite/fread/fclose...

Does anyone tried Win-8 and compiled applications has low-level funcs ?

If this news is correct what my be your opinions on our future ?

Most of my processing engine apps uses fopen etc and the latest one which was compiled and linked with hb32dev 64-bits was a speed demon in Win 8
