many, many thanks for your suggestion :) , but...
for me it's not urgent because I'm not a professional developer on Xbase: I'm a selfmade on HMG world :!: (when I had a job  I must use RPG, COBOL, little VB).
Second, I'm not sure to be able to (re)compile HMG: for me would be the first time : I'll try to do

Any way...many, many thanks.
Best regards.

PS: If I can afford to say: do not get mad.
Ok :)

If you want to know my opinion about RPG you could read this post: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=635&hilit=why+I+hat ... generators

And... I'm not getting mad ;)

The problem is that in my area there is not a public water network, so each house has its own water well and a its own pump.

Some days ago, my water pump stop working and I had the stupid idea of try to repair it myself to save some money...

I've failed miserably in my attempt to do it, I'm only get the things worse and (of course) I've was to pay for 'professional assistance'.

I've was the last five days without water in my house...

It is very probable that this situation influenced in my mood :)

I understand very well and I sense your mood :x , especially if you also have families and in case of water!
We (almost) all used to open a tap and scroll to see the blue gold :o !

Just for curiosity, in which zone of Italy do you live?

I have a neighbor (and customer) with large part of her family in Italy (Ischia).

She usually talks me about Ischia and even got me a DVD showing the touristic attractions there.

editbox backcolor and fontcolor (Already Solved)

Post by Pablo César »

I wish to thank to Roberto for his considerations for these matter, when solved at version 3.0.26. But I wish to call attention of many colleagues here whom are not knowing (as also me) that for this was considering a problem is not any more for long time ago.

The great solution, just to attend some users and for not contradict "Windows API designers rules" there are proprieties like as: DisabledBackColor and DisabledForeColor instead BackColor and DisabledForeColor when is READONLY.

Just to clearify this matter and for remember:
Roberto Lopez, here in this topic wrote:This is a behavior inherited from the Windows API.

Windows API designers decided that read-only/disabled controls must have the same look in all the applications, this is the reason because those controls do not respond to standard color treatment.

This has a 'logic': An user could recognize a control that is read-only or disabled in any application, simply by its appareance. IMHO that is a good thing.

So, we should not call this a 'bug'.
And I also agree. Thanks again !

P.S. Sorry for my bad English
