That is the main reason that I find on the Internet programs related to XBase.

Because my colleagues in my company have long used FoxPro. But when increased capacity up to 2G, it caused the error.

FoxPro Although still a professional software, but it is not a programming language. Although it has a history of XBase.

Hopefully, more and more people participating in the development and maintenance of HMG to it becoming more common

Anyway if you've reached 2 GB DBF size, I recommend you to migrate to sqlite at least.
Better if you move to a C/S database server like postgresql.
MS insist on break sam protocoll with every new windows version.
