We are all same, having Clipper roots, now looking for Windows/GUI wings with the help of HMG and similar such products. BTW, are you from India and that too from the southern part?

Yes ..! you are right, I am from India and little bit southern part. my native place is Solapur (Maharastra State-India) .

Its great to have another one - now we r 5 from this part of the world in this forum. BTW a few years back I've been to Solapur for installing software at John Players show room, that time riot started and under curfew I've to leave your city. I visited one famous temple surrounded by a lake there. The time I spent there (store had to be closed for the disturbance) was so peaceful, calm..... I still cherish my those moments when I was alone near to nature and divine. And I've found there's an influence of South.....perhaps Karnataka is very near to your town.
