After 4 years I am happy that it is getting materialized.
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

The new version (re-started from the scratch) is already published.

The big difference, is that the new design is so easy, that, there is only a few hours of work to get a basic functionality.

Thinking this new library as an aid for our HMG desktop applications for data collect on tablets and phones over the Internet, we need only some few GUI objects to start using it. Besides the window and button (we already have) maybe a textbox and a simple grid will be enough to make it functional.

Remember that websocket Harbour server for the back-end is ready.
Regards/Saludos,

Roberto

This is the need of the hour just like HMG was the need of the hour on those days. It will definitely be a paradigm shift.

It could be a good idea.

WIN32 API, will be in an obscure (backwards compatibility) corner in Windows 8.

It will be present only in Intel version and confined inside desktop.

And, according the current information, Windows 8 Intel based tablets will be more bigger and expensive than its ARM processor counterparts.

So, as today, appears to be not so much future on WIN32 API, then could be the logical step, that the main HMG development be based in its web version (HMGSCRIPT).

I'll think a little more on that, but I guess that you are right.

Roberto

Hello Roberto

Thanks to confirmation :)

Regarding backwards compatibility, it was a good thing; rest in peace :(
