IDE - my suggestions

Post by mol »

1. I wrote in another post about F5 key. It works only in upper top window of IDE. When any form is open, F5 doesn't work.

2. Is it possible to don't close edited form while bulding/running project?
When We want to test some little changes few times, We must reopen form for edit every time. When we change tab Modules/Forms in Project Browser, it causes one more click on Form tab and later an form to edit...

3. Maybe checkbox autosave edited form in preferences? Then We mustn't press YES on question "Save form?"

Best regards

Nice suggestions Marek. Thanks.
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

And another one....

I'm working under project with parameters parsed by command line.
It would be beautiful to define optional parameters to run project.

Good suggestions.

I'll consider for next releases.

Please, in the future, post in the 'Wish' area.

ROberto.

Hi friends,

Mol vire nice your suggestions. I can say only one?

1-) in preferences, if possible, can enable (set) an icon for all forms of the one project, and this choise can be save on file .hpp or .hpj for be read for IDE.

Hello,

Is there any documentation available for IDE, eg., what are the shortcut keys, how to copy and paste a control in a form etc.

I found some excellent help about IDE in Esgici's Viva Clipper.

With best regards.
