Hi

The "View new posts" info on the Portal Index page is a very handy feature. It show number of unread posts, open a new page ( list of unread posts) when clicked, and increase number of unread posts for new-coming posts while I'm on-line.

But it have a little deficiency : doesn't decrease number of unread posts when read.

May be is there a way for achieving this ?

Well, while you are coming online again it shows correctly. Isn't it? I wish to know, whether it gives session to session problem.

However, we have a link for 'view new posts' in every page of the forum.

Yes. But the problem is that, for seeing correct result we must make an extra log-out log-in.
