Extracting data from an XML file

Post by Faiz »

Hi

Can anyone help, I need to extract the employee's name and daily actual hours & overtime hours from a biometric system that provides a XML generated file?

Hi Faiz.

Yes, you can very well. Please use hbmxml library.
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Hi Faiz,

You have to add these two lines to your .hbc file. That's all.

Code: Select all

libs=hbmxml
libs=mxml
You can have the full documentation from http://www.minixml.org/

My XBRLiant project is fully based on XML. You can see the source code as an example.

You can get an idea by seeing this Harbour MXML library test file.

Code: Select all
