As a matter of interest, what do most people use for programming? Personally, I started with PFE, then PFE32 which I use now. I have found it very good, although the ability to execut a DOS command and capture output into a file doesn't seem to work. Templar

I use UltraEdit (not free). Its Macro and script support helps me code faster. It also has file/folder compare. I have tried notepad++, pspad etc. but came back to UltraEdit every time.

I use Notepad ++

But, but... when I need to solve a problem quickly, I turn to WordStar. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Really. I find myself like a fish in water. :geek:

I'm using notepad++
but I would like to have an editor (artificial intelligence) who knows what I expect from my source code and tells me: "if your settings (date and so on) are typed in outside (ahead) of the main function they will have no effect to the result.
example: my post of today concerning date-type textbox-problems. :lol:

At least as long as the compiler won't do that job :lol:

Quite an intersting range of writers being used, then!
I use Notepad++ for doing HTML programming and some bits of Kindle conversions (which I do quite a bit of). But I will certainly have a look at some of the others mentioned.

And I can recommend PFE32: and it's free!
