Hi All Friends,
In these festive days I am thinking about one year back.
Then I was searching for a GUI platform suitable for me. At that time I just saw something called Minigui (actually it was Minigui Extended). I was struggling with it with help from a helpful genius, Grigory Filatov At that time I didn't hear the name of HMGForum. Only I heard about a genius, Roberto Lopez and using DBU written by someone named S. Rathinagiri (I mailed Mr. Rathi's old email account, but they returned I thought that person must be a long faced professor )
Then I met someone named CCH in xHarbour forum, told him about Minigui. He told me about a forum, HMGForum. I joined this forum in March 2009. Found some like minded people - Esgici, Rathi (the aged long faced professor in my mind ), Marek, Vanguarda, Alex and many other friends.
I also found my old friend Swapan from xHarbour and told him about this forum.
I after 1 year I have many friends though out the world. Recently someone called me from extreme western part of my country. He became my friend. His name is Jayadev.
In the conclusion I must say about a man who changed my vision - yes Master Roberto Lopez
So, IMHO, my best achievement of this year is YOU, my friends
Thank you all.
With best regards.
Sudip

East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Dear Sudip,
Many thanks for remembering me.
Of all the forums that I participate, I find that HMG forum has that "Personal" touch, the approach is very professional, but the "personal" touch is not lost.
Not only that a forum member does not mind a private mail, but such interpersonal discussions are encouraged. The members also responds willingly and quickly to the queries.
Just my two cents...
Wishing you all a very Happy and a Prosperous New Year 2010 in advance. May all your wishes come true in the new year.
Warm regards,
Jayadev.

This forum is possible because all of you, that made possible communication in various different levels:
We communicate as programmers, but as persons too.
We found a space for humor and other things of our life.
These things had made special to this forum.
Thanks to all of you!
Regards/Saludos,
Roberto
