Dear Rathi:

Great compilation! A few are known but many are not known to me.Will check a few ones from the list.

BTW, what about Software Installer Makers?
I've used NSIS (open source), for creating installers. Though now not in touch for over 1 year. Its really great scriptable language with a very good online forum.

Swapan

Dear Rathinagiri,

Very good compilation.

Shall I add the following softwares:

1. For remote support / remote help : Teamviewer, showmypc ( uses VNC). Showmypc has a very small executable - no installation required.
2. For editing of programs : xMate - syntax highlighting, Full IDE.
3. Free software for backup/ synchronisation between two disks / USB Drives/ Locations - Syncback freeware
4. For downloads - Fresh devices - Freshdownload (requries registration).
5. print to PDF - cutePDF.
6. Outlook express back up - Outlook express freebie backup.

All the above programs are free and some require free regisration.

I have been using all the above softwares and find the extremly useful.

Just my two bits.

Warm regards,

Jayadev
