Hi Pete ! That app was made with JavaFX ( http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/overview/jfxpub-overview.htm ). Basically it is a web page disguised as a desktop app. So components are designed in html+css. I don't know of any harbopur api or lib that can control and pack a web app into a desktop app. May...

A C structure is a continuous and positional list of characters, while a harbour array is a pointer to a dynamic non-continuous set of chars. I still remember very early versions of habour that used to have the choice of generate java code instead of ansi C code.

I've opened files only if they were requested and I closed them always. But, with new windows (from 7), opening them in network environment takes a lot of time. But when you use NETIO files are managed locally ( no network sharing ) so open and close is like you are working standalone in your deskt...
