Re: HMG4 dialogs (some functions)

Playing with this now...

I have HMG3035 installed.. I tried calling that L_GETFOLDER procedure from a button in the form but it gives me an error F0029. Can't open #include file 'hbqtgui.ch'

Am I supposed to install something else as well to get use of these include files?

Checkbox ONINIT

I think this is a very basic question but I haven't worked with Harbour in at least a year. Assuming I have the most basic form with a single checkbox: How can I have that checkbox automatically be checked (TRUE) on starting the application. The Main form event seems to run before the checkbox is cr...

Re: Selecting (Choosing) Folders and listing files to a list

Excellent, yes thanks, I just figured it out before you posted it.

I am curious though how come you added this line

Code: Select all

frmTestDirList.lstbxDirList.DeleteAllItems()
Why does the listbox create an empty item on initialization?

That's not important but I figured I would ask.

Thanks again!

Re: Selecting (Choosing) Folders and listing files to a list

OK I think I got it. I kept trying to do it with aadd or afill but both those methods didn't work. I left here the small bit of code I used. *ChooseInput is a text control which got it's value from the GetFolder function local aDir := Directory(Main.ChooseInput.Value+"\*.*") local x For x:=1 to len(...

Selecting (Choosing) Folders and listing files to a listbox

Does anyone have a small piece of code for selecting a folder using a GetFolder GUI and sending the file listing in that folder to a listbox?

Re: EDIT EXTENDED OPTIONS

Great, that is exactly what I wanted. I am surprised it uses so many braces/brackets. I have to figure out why it uses extra { and }.

Thanks again!

Re: EDIT EXTENDED OPTIONS

Oh I am sorry for not being clear. It's probably a very simple answer too. It doesn't matter what application. I just want to see if I can get EDIT EXTENDED to show a message like "HELLO" in a message box after they select it in the options drop down box. An easier example is just taking the SAMPLE\...

Re: EDIT EXTENDED OPTIONS

OK here is the client.prg from SAMPLES/NETIO.02/CLIENT I don't know why this DOES work good: #include <hmg.ch> Function Main Load Window Main //As opposed to Define Window Form_1;etc etc Main.Center Main.Activate Return //This next function is called in form file called main.prg Function _Connect() ...
