Re: Getfolder()

It seems to me that, the padlock is not the reason for this behavior of the GetFolder function here. The C:\USER\Gebruiker folder is in this case a profile folder. In order for GetFolder to work with this folder, it should be possible to display the profile folder in the window. Try this code, it w...

Start application in "Run as Administrator" mode and check if you have access to this folder.
Hi edk,

I have already tried : it is the same.
He return 'My computer' and not the initpath.

Re: Getfolder()

Serge, The folder path/name is ok (I have a multi language PC!). I have tried C:\users\Administrateur\ and others folders not in Gebruiker : no problem. Now, I see a padlock on Gebruiker. However, I can read/write in the files and subfolders of the folder Gebruiker. But the access seems blocked (onl...

Re: Getfolder()

Hi Serge, Thanks for your answer. It's a minigui, indeed. I saw minigui.ch in the hmg\include folder, so I thought it was possible ... I like miracles. ;) So, my problem is : Syntax of getfolder() is : GetFolder ( [<cTitle>] , [<cInitPath>], [<cInvalidDataMsg>], [<lNewFolderButton>] , [<lIncludeFile...

Re: Getfolder()

Hello, I have the same problem with getfolder(). Does anyone have a solution to this getfolder () that does not take into account the initpath? I tried to compile the "getfolder sample" posted a long time ago by gfilatov (via Pablo César), but I have a 'multiple definition' linker error : Harbour 3....

Re: path of an opened dbf file.

Hello Serge, YES! It works. But the currentfolder may not be the same as the file. I will do like that : Actualpath := GetCurrentFolder() + "\" FileName := Actualpath+"some_file" use (FileName) /* ..... */ Filepath := dbInfo(DBI_FULLPATH) So I'm sure it's the right one. Thank you for your help, Domi...
