Re: Drag grid item to another grid

Next version. Support for LISTBOX and LISTBOX Multiselect has been added. Support for Grid Multiselect has been added. Because the Multiselect support has been added, the concept of storing the dragged variables has been changed. Each table item is one record. Each record is an array containing data...

Re: Drag grid item to another grid

Hi. I'm trying to fabricate the universal DragAndDrop support. My intention was not to change HMG sources and create additional events for controls, but only to use available methods. I thought to use the existing "GetFocus" event. The projects are not complete yet and free of errors, but I present ...

c = substr(a,b+10,1000) // use 1000 not knowing length of variable
In this case just use c = substr(a,b+10)
As a result, we get a string "a" cutted from the character in position b+10 up to the end of the string.

@Rajeev:

A last and small note to add Edward:

name of .rc file should be same as .prg ( in the sample: demo.rc for demo.prg )

Happy HMG'ing :D
This is obvious, just like .hpc,. hbp ;)

Re: Hard coding picture on a button

Hi Rajeev. It's simple, just look into demo.rc file. There are defined files, whitch should be embedded in your exe file. example: B1 BITMAP res\BUTTON.BMP B2 PNG res\img.PNG B3 ICON res\img.ICO Where: B1, B2 and B3 are alises of embedded files; BITMAP, PNG, ICON are types of embedded files; res\BUT...

Re: Hard coding picture on a button

IMHO .ico files not convenient for button images and there is tons of utility (included freeware) to convert images from one type to another (my favorite is IrfanView). Still may be possible to add .ico type to images types supported by BUTTON control of HMG ( if one of our developers start to do )...

Re: HPDFPRINT UNICODE

You do not have to convert all code to ANSI. The entire source code can be in UNICODE. I mean, you can only convert content when you create a PDF. [Main program] [Some function] (...) //temporary switch to CP1250, only for create PDF SET CODEPAGE TO SLOVENIAN SELECT HPDFDOC "example.pdf" TO lSuccess...

Re: Hard coding picture on a button

It seems to me that the icon files (ico) included in resources are not supported by the PICTURE property for the BUTTON control.

Re: HPDFPRINT UNICODE

Many complex language scripts can't be converted to ANSI. You're right, but Drago probably creates a PDF in Slovenian. Can easily use ANSI encoding. This looks good to you, I did not manage to make a display of letters with the accents of ŠĐŽĆČ, so I gave up but creating a print and using some prin...
