Re: Floating point fields

https://vivaclipper.wordpress.com/2012/04/21/extended-field-types-in-harbour/ Thank you, Esgici, for that link. The table at the top of that page is a fairly good outline of what I have found out so far. There are many more details I have found by experimentation that are not mentioned in this tabl...

Floating point fields

Hello again everyone, I have been experimenting lately with extended field types: integers, timestamp, autoincrement, verchar, vartype, unicode, binary, and floating point fields. All the documentation I have read about floating point fields seems to say that Harbour DBFs can have two types of float...

Re: HMG 3.4.4

Many thanks to Claudio and Rathi for this new version! I just downloaded the new version. Everything I submitted over the past year is in this version and works great! There is just one small exception. I submitted a batch file, makechm.bat , that compiles a .CHM file from HTML and other files. Like...

Re: How to use HELPBUTTON?

I really liked the help adaptation in HMG. :) Has Claudio or anyone else been expressed their comments in favor of this proposal ? I have not seen any comments except from you. Would you like to make it possible for the user (even at the managerial level) to edit the help on runtime? Htm files are ...

Re: HMG 3.4.3

I do not see any of the changes that I proposed for 3.4.3 in patch 2. These all relate to the WordScribe and WordWriter HFCL applications. Here are the forum topics where I proposed these changes: http://hmgforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=4779 http://hmgforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=4801 http://hmg...

Re: HMG 3.4.3

I never participated and I do not know if the idea of concentrating the code on a sourforce (for example) would make it easier. For there should be a system that centralizes and identifies changes by who and what they are made ... That way we can all participate, identifying ourselves and asserting...

Re: Another enhancement to HFCL WordScribe and WordWriter

It's been over 6 months, but I've just posted another change to WordScribe and WordWriter. These programs write into the registry to set file associations, and I just found out that I had been doing them the wrong way. I had been writing into HKCR (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT), when I should have been writing...

Re: HMG 3.4.3

I found that when hmg3.4.3 (Unicode) in reading the INI file, if the INI file exists in Chinese characters, then read out the text may not be correct! For example, compile and run the following program, in the INI file is "我非常喜欢HMG!" and read out the string is "我非常". Harbour has done another dirty ...
