Re: HMG and GDI handles

Hi Esgici, thanks for reply. I agree there are some partial solutions. Also I believe that tweaking registry for GDI handles is not good idea. In simple sample there is only window and some fonts. It doesn't run for even 10 minutes and it crashes. How to use HMG to make POS system with 24/7 working ...

Re: Osx version

Hi Kelvo, please read this http://hmgforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1685&start=10 You will need some macports packages. I suggest you to make harbour from sources (nighly build) and after that build HMG4 lib. This way harbour is build with clang compiler and there is no lib.ncurses error. Sorry but ...

Browse slow change of active cell

Hi all,

Open sample samples/browse/demo_5.prg
change line 21: Use demo5 -> Use demo5 shared

Start program, make 1 million records, click on some cell.
On my system (win7) it's very slow on changing from active cell to new one.

Anyone else have that behaviour?

Thanks
Alen

Re: HMG.4 FOR MAC OSX RELEASED!

That's right. People always say, that they want simple applications. But they want it to be powerful and full of features. If you got a little time, you can watch this talk "Simplicity vs. Choice" by Joel Spolsky: http://joelonsoftware.com/items/2010/08/19.html Nice movie .. I must agree that iPhon...

Re: A Taste of Mac OS X

Great. I am not alone! ;-) You are not alone :D Did you also have to install the qt-package from nokia? I am just curious, because I want to find the quickest way to a working harbour/HMG-installation. Yes I install qt from nokia (cocoa version) Please try out samples/images/demo_1 How many picture...
